Teaching

“Music is necessary to life, it can change it, improve it and in some cases it can even save it. For this reason I have always insisted on the importance of musical education, which ultimately becomes the education of man”

Claudio Abbado

Do you want to discover the way to:

boost your brainpower, develop your social skills, get to know yourself better and strengthen your confidence?

Start studying music with me!

For both adults and children, music is an excellent way to learn how to express ourselves better while tapping into our inner creative spirits. It also allows us to become more patient and more disciplined.

What is the trombone?

The trombone is an instrument that can be learned at all ages. Thanks to the very light and colourful pBone (plastic trombone), the practice of this instrument is possible for children at the age of 6. The price of a pBone is only 125.

In my opinion the trombone is the most versatile instrument in the brass family. It is used in many musical genres, allowing students to choose whether to perform in a symphony orchestra, jazz ensemble, chamber music group, music band, brass band or an early music ensemble.

How am I going to help you?

My main goal is to help you believe in yourself by learning the trombone, encourage you to overcome any difficulties and always fuel your curiosity.

With eight years of experience as a trombone teacher in Switzerland, France and Italy, I help my students to discover the musical language effectively while having fun, always respecting their musical taste and following their desires and motivations.

For me the effective learning is based on three fundamental values: authenticity of the student-teacher relationship, empathy and observation without judgment.

I am the ideal solution for:

  • Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced trombonists
  • Amateur Musicians
  • Conservatory and University Students
  • Trombonists who want to improve their early music skills
  • Anyone who wants to learn how to play the trombone better and better

Our son took weekly private lessons with Davide last year. We appreciated his approach, creativity, patience and respect for the student’s learning pace. I was able to attend some classes and without making music myself, I found them captivating. Mr. Lombritto is very focused and his communicative attitude makes the student want to progress and surpass himself.

I know the person and I especially know the musician Lombritto. It is very difficult nowadays to find an excellent pedagogue and musician who can make people passionate about music like him. For children who start, a teacher who support you with enthusiasm is fundamental. For adults who want to progress not only with the instrument, but in the music in general, he will bring you an additional background. You have to know Davide to understand all his qualities.

Davide was the trombone teacher for my 8-year-old daughter. He encouraged her and kept her motivated all year. I hope he can continue his musical training this year.

Mr Lombritto is extremely professional and follows my son’s progress very well. We have only done 4 classes but my son is very happy. The instrument is demanding but my son is invested because Mr Lombritto is very passionate and motivated.
